Another Leigh Alexander piece from Gamasutra, and one that makes a very valid point: while the Hot Coffee debacle caused serious problems for Take Two, it caused an even greater problem for the videogames industry as a whole. One that probably still hasn’t blown over.
So, at least one of you may have started wondering where I went...
Sorry about being incommunicado. I had to repeat six exams, and so pretty much started radio silence the week of the exams.
The results came out on the 18th (coincidentally, I turned 22 on the following day). I failed, and thus I have to repeat. Up until now, I’ve not tried to open Tumblr up, since I’ve missed so many days (around five, I believe) of posting (I started catching up the week after the exams ended, and then got my results. I finally decided to start with a clean slate, since I doubt I could read forty-five pages over the weekend (lectures start next week).
So, if I post something you already have, without attributing you, I’m profoundly sorry.

Yet another 09/09/09 surprise, this time the Beatles-half of the blowout day that surprisingly has nothing to do with monophonic reissues or Rock Band: 8-Bit Operators, the same group that brought you the eponymous 2007 Kraftwerk chiptune cover album have just announced WANNA HLD YR HANDHELD, a new 20-track compilation covering the best of the Beatles.
